I can't really tell what city you are looking at in this image, but I can tell that you are interested in transit and connectivity on all scales and by all means of transportation. The image gets me thinking, and I want know more about how you want to approach the broad topic of transportation. Will you pick one, focusing on the pedestrian experience for example; making a city more walkable in general, or are you going to investigate the layering of all types of transit? How they interact, and overlap. Whatever you decide, you should check out Yarden's blog. She is also dealing with the idea of transportation (her's is in Pittsburgh).
